Final Fantasy VIII is an electronic RPG game developed and published by SquareSoft in 1999, being the eighth main title of the Final Fantasy series.

The game was the second of the franchise to use three-dimensional graphics and the first to consistently employ characters of realistic proportions, also introducing a new system of magic that removed the traditional conjuration with magic points. The story takes place in a world that combines elements of fantasy and science fiction, following a group of young mercenaries led by Squall Leonhart and working for an organization called SeeD. They initially travel through different countries pursuing the sorceress Edea, but soon they must prevent the future from being compressed in time in the so-called Ultimecia.

The development of Final Fantasy VIII began in 1997, being directed by Yoshinori Kitase and produced by Shinji Hashimoto. The original soundtrack was composed by veteran of the Nobuo Uematsu franchise, being the first to use a song with lyrics: "Eyes on Me", played by Faye Wong. The game was well received by critics, who praised its originality and scope. It was also a major commercial success, collecting $ 50 million in just thirteen weeks and becoming the fastest selling Final Fantasy in history until the launch of Final Fantasy XIII in 2009. Worldwide, VIII has sold over 8.15 million copies.

About Game Break Limits

Final Fantasy VIII characters use special attacks called "Limit Breaks", as in Final Fantasy VII. Although Limit Breaks in Final Fantasy VII are triggered after the player has received enough damage in Final Fantasy VIII, the availability of Limit Breaks depends on whether the character's current health stage is at risk, and it is possible to use the Limit Break option. The Spell Aura spell increases the likelihood that the Limit Breaks will be displayed regardless of whether a character is using hit points, while several states can prevent illness in Limit Breaks. They are similar to the "Desperation Attacks" of Final Fantasy VI, in which they are randomly triggered when a character is on the verge of death.
Final Fantasy VIII also introduced interactive elements to complement the Limit Break with animations. These interactive sequences, ranging from character, weapon, and Limit Break range are randomly selected with spells and precision spells timed by the control buttons. Successfully completing an interactive sequence increases the attack result with great power.

Final Fantasy IX (フ ァ イ ン タ ジ ー IX) is an electronic RPG game developed and published by SquareSoft. It was originally released as a PlayStation exclusive, being the ninth main title of the Final Fantasy franchise. The story centers on a war between two nations. The players follow a young thief named Zidane Tribal, who joins a group with the goal of defeating Queen Brahne, one of the main culprits of the war. However, they discover that Brahne is working with an even more dangerous person named Kuja.
Final Fantasy IX was developed along with Final Fantasy VIII, but took a different approach by returning to a more traditional style similar to the first games in the series. Consequently, IX was very influenced by the first Final Fantasy and has references to the other games of the series. It was critically acclaimed to be released and became a major commercial success, selling more than 5.3 million units worldwide.

A little about your development

During its conception, the ninth chapter of the series was not included within the official chronology. As the series greatly expanded its community of players in the Playstation era, with games set in more technological eras and more human characters, developers were worried about possible negative reactions to the more nostalgic style of the game. According to the site IGN, what moved the production was the personal desire of the creator and then producer of the series, Hironobu Sakaguchi, to design an old school game in homage to the long-time fans.

Final Fantasy IX ran the risk of not being finalized by some difficulties faced by Squaresoft at the time. The company was committed, mainly financially, to the development of engines for titles of the then future Playstation 2 and of the film Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. The production began next to Final Fantasy VIII, however it only acquired breath after the launching of this one. The final final product hit stores almost a year later.

Playstation

Over the years, James Bond films have given the audience watching the film a glimpse into the life of a super-playboy: gadgets, spying, fast women, and fast cars. While Bond films have been turned into games countless times, none of the games provided the focus of 007 Racing. EA's latest Bond game focuses on the vehicular efforts of the 007, giving it a heavily armed and armored car and a list of goals. While the game looks like an interesting and excellent idea running, it struggles in many areas to justify a recommendation.

007 Racing
007 Racing

A little about the game

The game allows you to drive several Bond cars that have appeared in all of your movie adventures, such as the Aston Martin DB5, BMW 750, BMW Z8, Lotus Esprit and BMW Z3. Each car is a bit different, though none of them handles particularly well. Each car can be equipped with different items such as rockets, missiles, machine guns, shells, smoke screens and oil stains. Only one item can be equipped at a time, and you automatically switch to an item when you select it. This leads to trouble when you're trying to line up a rocket fire and accidentally run over a new weapon - you're forced to go through the guns one at a time, losing precious seconds. Problems with guns do not stop there. Their rockets are mounted laterally, alternating the fire from the left and right sides of your car. If you do not keep track of exactly which side of your car is the next to shoot, lining up mid-sized rocket shots is unnecessarily difficult. A set of sights would have been a great help here. Add the difficulties of aiming at the slow nature of the various vehicles of the game and you will have a recipe for frustration. Even when traveling at high speed, cars can not rotate fast enough for you to line up an accurate shot. Taking an extra hour or two to line up an outlet usually drives the cars to get too close to your car, and you will end up hurting them with nearby blasts. The game has a couple of two player modes: a standard mode of deathmatch and a way to pass the bomb.

A Little History of the Game

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis begins 24 hours before the events of Resident Evil 2 and follows former Rescue and Special Tactics agent Jill Valentine in his attempt to escape from Raccoon City. Almost all of the city's citizens were turned into zombies by an outbreak of T-virus, a new type of secret biological weapon developed by the pharmaceutical company Umbrella Corporation. On her way to the Raccoon City Police Department, Jill finds another team member, Brad Vickers, who is later killed by Nemesis, a bio-organic weapon created by Umbrella for the sole purpose of eliminating the surviving members of STARS, who are witnesses of the company's unethical experiments. After escaping from Nemesis, Jill finds three surviving members of the Umbrella Biological Risk Countermeasure Service (UBCS): Carlos Oliveira, Mikhail Victor, and Nikolai Zinoviev. The latter explains to Jill and Carlos that a rescue helicopter can be contacted if they manage to reach the Clock Tower of Raccoon City and ring their bell.
